When purchasing vintage or second-hand items on our platform you are buying directly from either local stores, local businesses, or Vinty Market. There are no private persons selling on Vinty Market. That means that we all take great care in accurately describing the condition through text and images. We want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of what you're buying, helping to minimize the need for returns.
But with that said, we understand that from time to time, you may find the need to return an item. Our goal is to streamline this process for you, making it quick, easy, and hassle-free.
Refunds or exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the item according to Swedish laws. Please ensure that returned products are in the same condition as when the seller sent it — unworn, with all tags still attached, and in the original packaging.
The cost for return postage lies with the buyer. The buyer is also responsible to be able to prove that the package has been send so we therefore strongly recommend using a tracked and signed-for service to guarantee safe delivery and avoid issues with the chosen postal service. If the buyer cannot prove that package has been send, there is no tracking number, and the item hasn’t reached the seller within 14 days after sending it the return cannot be fulfilled and therefore no refunds will be issued.
For environmental considerations, we encourage you to think about the impact of returns on the environment. Purchasing vintage and second-hand items is a sustainable choice, and we appreciate your mindfulness in minimizing returns.
For hygiene reasons, we are unable to process refunds or exchanges for products that exhibit signs of perfume, makeup, body odors, animal hair, or cigarette smoke if that were not in the product description in the first place.
The first step to initiate a return is to contact the seller via e-mail with information about the return. That should include your full name, order number, item you want to return and reason for return. Also take a look at the seller page for specific information about returns before sending the item.
